Money Saving Tips: Stock up on Non-Perishable Household Supplies On Sale

It's always great to find ways to save money, even if you're one of the lucky individuals who is financially independent. One of the easiest ways to save money is to stock up on non-perishable items such as laundry detergent.
You can do this by joining a club store such as Costco or Sam's Club. However, if you're not in a position to purchase a club store membership or you would prefer not to, you can still save on household items by buying them when they go on sale, whether you need them at the time or not.
King Soopers had an excellent sale on Sun Laundry Detergent: 45 ounce bottles for 1.99 each. 45 ounces washes 25 large loads. This is a good price to begin with. However, the deal got better. If I bought 5 bottles, I saved $5. This means I was paying 99 cents per bottle.
The store generally has a limit to how many bottles a customer can buy during one trip. With a deal like this, I buy the maximum number allowed.
I also buy items like paper towels whenever they go on sale.
Never pay full price for nonperishable household supplies. Purchase them in quantity during sales.
